Subject: Oak Grove Community Walking Workshop
Dear Community Member,
Foothill Planning Associates, a group of Portland State graduate students in Urban & Regional Planning, is working with Oak Lodge Community Council and Clackamas County Urban Green to develop a Neighborhood Center Plan. Foothill seeks your input to ensure this plan reflects the needs and vision of the community.
What do you see in the future for Oak Grove?
Come to a walking workshop to tell us about community assets, problems and your ideas for Oak Grove. The workshop will focus on the business district on Oak Grove Boulevard and connections to the proposed MAX station at Park Avenue.
Information from this workshop will be used in developing a neighborhood center plan for Oak Grove. Portland State Planning students, with the Oak Lodge Community Council and Urban Green, are developing this plan to support a more livable and sustainable neighborhood.

About the Plan
The Oak Grove Neighborhood Center Plan aims to strengthen the Oak Grove Boulevard business district and improve connections with the planned Park Avenue MAX station via McLoughlin Boulevard and the Trolley Trail. Foothill Planning, OLCC and Urban Green are working to understand the community vision for Oak Grove to ensure that neighborhood benefits are central to planned and future improvements in the area. A one-page summary of the project and plan are attached.
Please forward this to anyone you think would like to attend the workshop or would be interested in our project.
Many thanks,
Alicia
